ANN T. COLBERT

December 11, 1944 – March 24, 2016

CASTALIA – Ann Thorne Colbert, 71, of Castalia, died Thursday afternoon.

          Ann was a daughter of the late Albert and Alma Leigh Thorne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Ray Colbert.

          A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery.

          Ann is survived by her daughters, Amy Colbert of Castalia; Karen Proctor and husband Tracy of Zebulon; sister and brother-in-law, Marie T. and John Blackwell of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jason Fuller and wife, Heather; Jamie Proctor, Jordan Fuller and Jeremy Proctor.

          The family will receive friends 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
