ALICE P. HIGHT

September 22, 1922 – June 3, 2016

LOUISBURG – Alice Phelps Hight, 93, of Louisburg, died Friday morning at her home. 

          Mrs. Hight was a daughter of the late Harold and Elnora Hudson Phelps. She was preceded in death by her; husband, Elwood L. Hight, Sr.; sister, Rachel Debnam; brothers, Charlie Phelps, Glen Phelps and Everet Phelps.

          A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

          Mrs. Hight is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Vickie Hight of Louisburg; granddaughter, Tamsey H. Watkins and husband, Doug; great-grandchildren, Skylar and Gunner Watkins; sister-in-law; Beulah Phelps.

          Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 111 Laurel Mill Centerville Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
